Another week wasted. Another week when I didn't makes inroads into The Novel.
I've been ill since last Saturday.
Some coldie fluy thing that has laid me low.
But I still had to provide the meals - no let up there.
Still, it mean that I've already done the reading for the September meeting of our bookclub - quite a feat, really, and am now reading a Susan Jeffers book Dare to Connect. It's all about hugging strangers, or something like that.
One more week, and we're off on The Hols to the Planet Naboo (aka Lake Como) so that should be a change of scenery.

Ah. Are you still ill? And is this book for or against hugging strangers?
Poor poorly girl. Hang on in there. This too will pass! As for the book, I hope it's not advocating hugging strangers and, if it does, you don't attempt it. You might catch another bug.
I had the summer head cold for about 3 weeks. A couple of days after the blogmeet I lost my sense of smell for 3 days (no blocked nose though) and that really got me down.
I think it advocates hugging aquaintances. Thanks for your good wishes.
I wouldn't mind losing my sense of smell, it's the sens of humour failure that's getting me down!
